Spatial Forum is an architectural exterior, interior and garden design company, which is named for my design philosophy of creating spaces that will promote the gathering of people to come together and share ideas and life. As owner I am responsible for all facets of running a design firm. Projects included residential renovations, restaurants, and architectural interior design.

Position held: Project Designer / Intern 2002-2008
Scope of work: Worked on various projects in a residential/commercial firm such as residential additions and new homes, commercial buildings such as retail stores and apartment buildings and which included initial consultations with clients, measured and photographed the site, prepared design sketches and drawings for design meetings, selected and coordinated all architectural finishes and lighting, garden design and prepared finished design drawings for permit and construction phase.

Position held: Architectural Designer / Intern 2000-2002
Scope of Work: Worked on various projects in a residential/commercial firm projects including residential design, meetings, drawings details and construction documents.

SILVERSTEIN BUCKMAN ARCHITECTS
Position held: Architect Designer / Intern 1998-2000
Scope of work: Worked on various projects in a commercially based firm specializing in medical arts buildings. Duties included medical offices, client meetings, checked shop drawings and drew modalities and construction documents.

VOLUNTEER WORK

BOROUGH IMPROVEMENT LEAGUE OF METUCHEN 2010 – present
Title: Chairman of the Holiday House Tour of Metuchen
Proceeds of the Holiday House tour go towards the historic preservation and restoration of our town’s
oldest structure, The Old Franklin Schoolhouse built in 1807.
GARDEN CLUB OF METUCHEN 2009 – present
Title: Chairman, Adopt-a-Pot Project of the Beautification of the town of Metuchen, NJ.
Projects include: design of seasonal plantings & coordination of all members for implementing this effort for the pots on Main Street and the Vietnam Memorial.

BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA 2009
Volunteered and helped implement a landscape design for the Martin Luther King Memorial in Metuchen NJ. The Boy Scout who I helped earned his Eagle Scout Medal.

TRAVEL / LIFE EXPERIENCE
As a student, I had the opportunity to travel to the U.S., Europe, Mexico and the Caribbean to study and experience some of the world’s greatest architecture, great homes and gardens. It has opened my mind to different ways of thinking. This experience I will always take with me and it has influenced me and my designs greatly.
